Just want to know fellow warrior thought about recent google local search results change. I really wondering if you find this change interesting?

    I can't see anything interesting in that even to be the 4th in the local list is not enough anymore(

    Hi Sohel

    Recent google local search result change; results in high competition. As if your website ranks high that means your website is well maintained; its good to have competition. So changes are good.

      Yup. Now people only have 3 other options before they get to me, for the keywords I'm #2; only 4 other options for the keywords I'm #3.... That means I get more visitors to my sites, make more sale than when Google shows the 7 pack.

      I'm all for it, except for the keywords where I'm #4-7 in the pack, for those, I'm against the 3-pack.

      Don't you think, Local business that not in 3-pack local results will spend more money on Google Adwords? I found some post discussing that by Reducing Local 7 Pack to 3, google's promoting Adwords program.

        The latest update by Google has done some serious harm to local businesses as the visibility of their business addresses and phone numbers is now lost. And, those who were ranking on 4th to 7th position have to really work hard to get on the top 3 positions on local search result page.

    Can anyone suggest a working Local SEO Strategy for Home Services? Before Google 3-Pack update, we were doing really well but our current ranking is nowhere.
