A few questions about SEO

Hey guys, I made my website a few weeks ago, and I optimized the page with the popular keywords related to my site, bought 30 backlinks from fiverr and made a few myself (pinterest, forums, etc.) The guy from fiverr said it would take a few months for the links to index, and I'd rather not find out about my mistakes in 2 months & then wait 2 more months to see better results.
Now i have a few questions

1.How does this indexing process I keep hearing about work?

2.Where can I get the best links?

3.is seo more effective for webpages rather than the site itself? (www.website.com or www.website.com/page)

4.and is there anything else i should be doing other than on page optimization, backlinking, and making sure my content is 💯?

Thanks

    1) I'll save you two months of waiting, you failed when you bought fiverr links. No authority backlink page on the web takes two months let alone two weeks to get reindexed by Google.

    2) Relevant domain pages and/or you're own private link network.

3 & 4) Think BIG picture when it comes to SEO, relevant internal links are just as useful as inbound backlinks from other domain pages. Research how SEO silos work, more money for your buck when it comes to link building.

Thanks for the insight, I had a feeling those backlink promises were too good to be true.. And I'll definitely look into it

Edit: I understand the deal with relevant pages, but what are they ways to actually get a link from these big guys, is it only available through commenting/forum posting?

Of course... Don't expect to get PERFECT backlinks for 5 bucks in Fiverr (don't forget that he even receive 4 bucks for ALL this work..> Unless you paid for extras... Quality SEO is very, very expensive (and it's MONTHLY, not just once and set & forget it!)

My advice is to perhaps invent in learning your own way of building quality links from scratch and not rely on services which may not work, or even be there in a months time.

Brian Dead @ Backlinko offers some creative ways in which to build links, and powerful links even if your niche on the face of things is pretty dull its still possible to make things viral using info graphics etc.

My biggest mistake in the beginning was relying on services, when I could easily do the job and see faster results in less time myself.
