What is the problem wih IRRELEVANT BACKLINK

Lets talk about practical SEO.
It is almost impossible to create do-follow backlink only relevant site.
If you are a high thinking people then you might be always suggest that always create relevant backlink.
I know it is good but did you ever think how hard it to get High pr backlink on relevant site?
Specially if relevant site owner think you might be their future competitor then they never help you. Most of them never help even no response of email.

Again if you are running a very deep topic related niche then it will be more hard to get relevant backlink.

Now my question is: What is your personal experience about relevant backlink and irrelevant backlink?
I have lot of do follow backlink on relevant site. I read lot of article and final comment is that they are almost useless. Although i might get few traffic from those but for google still it is useless.

In this situation what would be my strategy to get high pr backlink?

    No, it's not almost impossible to create followed links from relevant sites. It's actually easy.

    Step 1. Create relevant site.

    Step 2. Give yourself a followed link.

    You want it to be from a page that's got juice? Add step 3:
    Create backlinks to the page you gave yourself a link from.

        Links from pages with high PR are, indeed, very useful. Links from pages that are on a domain whose homepage has a high PR, not good.

        The problem, though, is this: Google ain't telling which pages have high PR. So, how will you know?

        For the answer to your question in this post, ask Google. No one else knows... Though it's clear that it's better to get a link from a page with 2 good links than from a page with 1 good link; a page with 3 good links is better than one with 2 good links, and so on.
