Hello Everyone, I just came across this site today and it seems to be full of useful tips tricks and things i never really thought about. I have question I have launched a new blog that talks about testing all the different Marketing strategies and sharing what really works and what is just a scams.. Now i just read the post on making 100 a day with google Ad scene.

Now i use a different AD company but i figure the Concept should be the same it says you should get 1 click for every 20 Visitors. Now my blog is new but I'm getting around 500 visitors a day but maybe 1 or 2 clicks vs what should be 10 or 20.. I was wondering what i could do to increase this ? I do make around 15 cents a day just from impressions but not from clicks..

any help or advice would be great..

Thanks Gabriel

    Hi noghost31,

    Welcome to the forum.

The real key to getting clicks and making money in AdSense is how well you can get targeted traffic. Not all traffic is the same and some types of traffic will do more harm than good.

Put yourself into the shoes of an advertiser and ask "what would be the kind of web page you would want your ad to appear on?" Next, ask what traffic sources would be good for me as an advertiser. Once you have those answers you will know exactly what you should do.

One thing you should try is to make the advertisment blend in with your content so it doesn't look like an ad...

In order to get people click your ads, make a sensible article or interesting stories that would attract people's interest... they will surely click your related ads because they want to find out more...

well ...in my point of view .the smartest approach to get a click is that.

write something incomplete..or leave the reader to a point..where he wish to go to read more...then he probably click on a google ad...

Good advice, i actually experimenting this after i am giving complete solutions for a year's time. and not even a single check from adsense is received.

To promote the user to navigate internally in the site first, this will sure lead to clicking on advertisement.

If you are giving articles to the user like me. the user may stop navigating internally or even externaly if you gave satifactory information.

if he satisfied after reading, it is highly likely that visitor will close the browser immediatly.

Location, location, location & test out many different places. Over time you'll find the best converting spot. The popints above are great and in fact work best most of the time.
