Anyone used RankPay in recent months?

I've been doing SEO for about 10 years now (subset of a larger service offering.) A couple years ago, I had a couple clients with small budgets so I suggested we try RankPay. They had initial rankings on Page 2 (11-20) and they were moderately competetive keywords. I liked the fact we would only pay for improvements. I was pretty skeptical though but it's great that you can work with a service that is no gain, no pay.

In about 3 months, the rankings on the keywords increased by about 4-6 positions getting from page 2 to page 1 and the cost was very reasonable. Now I know what a lot of people on here are thinking right now, this guy must be associated with RankPay. Nope. The results were mediocre, nothing close to spectacular. But they WERE results, and they ended up being cheaper than having me do manual link building myself (which the client couldn't afford).

So while as I wouldn't consider RankPay a 'replacement' SEO service, it might help offload link building activities for some SEO's working on limited budget projects.

One thing to consider is if you are doing SEO for thousands of websites, then you can run reports across all clients to figure out what is working and what isn't a lot faster/better than an SEO working on 3-5 websites. Many SEO's hate RankPay simply because they are 100% pay for performance and most SEO's like to reiterate the fact Google is unpredictable so they can't offer pay for performance. I personally offer a blend with my clients in the form of a 'ranking bonus' which is a sliding scale spending on how high I get them. Otherwise, the SEO is putting 100% of the risk of the unpredictability of the SERPs over time on the client, and I don't think that is fair. Nor attractive from my business owner perspective.

So I haven't used RankPay in a while now because I haven't needed them on any recent projects. Wondering if anyone has used them lately and how they have performed for them. Obviously your mileage may vary depending on many variables (state of your website -- they don't do on-site SEO, competetiveness of the keywords, amount of time you've been with them.)

I 've been using them for the past 5 months to rank a dating site of mine and to date I'm still not ranking. Going to close my account after the 6th month.

When you say "still no ranking" what exactly do you mean by that? Not listed at all in Google? Haven't improved? From what original positions?

Ya, the good news is if what you say is true then it didn't cost you a penny. The bad new is, you wasted time when you could have been using other more effective methods. Of course you can use other methods in parallel but then you may end up paying for results that RankPay wasn't responsible for.

Online Dating is a highly competetive niche. Super competetive. The barriers of entry are enormous considering you need a critical mass of users and getting there can be next to impossible given the fact there are sevearl major pre-existing sites both broad and narrowly focused.

What's your site address. I'd love to take a look at it plus it would give more credibility to your response. What keyword(s) were you trying to rank for?

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the company maybe it worked for others but it didn't for me, I already shut down the website just waiting to close my account. Now I'm selling ebooks and software at estopzone.com

      Lol, that was funny.

To be fair, the dating niche is very competitive & I'm sure Rankpay is doing one size fits all SEO like a WSO or fiverr gig (probably a re-seller).

They do have one heck of an awesome sales funnel.

Dating niche is definitely highly competitive and while I'm marketing and can't speak for our SEO folks, I'm assuming that has something (if not everything) to do with why we weren't able to deliver the goods for estopzone.

FWIW we don't actually provide a one size fits all solution. We provide on-site optimizations for all of our customers and take a unique-approach to each customer.

More importantly, we're not a reseller and do all of our own SEO. But if we were going to be a reseller, a Fiverr gig? C'mon! Haha

But, you're definitely right about our sales funnel (some of that is my work). Couldn't agree more with your assessment ;D

Lol, are you watching Google Alerts?

That fiverr jab was more about the way people resell services, not necessarily a fiver reseller though those types of resellers are rampant here on Warrior Forum. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against resellers it's just that a lot of link sellers go after the easy low end buyers selling junk links.

OP said Rankpay doesn't do on-page SEO (...they don't do on-site SEO...) which lead me to believe it to be a link seller/reseller. I see now one mention on the home page about content/code so I guess that's the on-page SEO. Might want to be a little more detailed about that part of the service. I only glanced at the site, IDK, maybe it's mentioned somewhere else.

I was just having a bit of fun regarding Fiverr. Though imagine our SEO guys would be a bit more off-put lol. What you mentioned is definitely widespread in the SEO space.

And we don't have anything against resellers either, we have a reseller program of our own!

Glad you caught we do on-page SEO in the end, though I like the idea of bringing that more to the forefront so you may see that updated in the sales copy soon. Thanks for the tip

Hey guys, wanted to jump in and get involved. First off, I work at RankPay, so I'm 100% associated with the brand and service.

Second, thanks OP for the positive feedback and glad you've found our service useful to date.

Third, sorry to hear that we weren't able to get results for you estopzone. But appreciate that there's no hard feelings

As OP mentioned, we like having the "if you don't rank, you don't pay" guarantee in place for this specific reason.

Last but not least, if you decide to come back estopzone, or if anyone ITT is interested in giving us a try, we've got a coupon code for Warrior Forum. Just use the code "WARRIOR" at check out to get a $100 credit to your account.
