Real Estate Friend Needs SEO Help

I'm friends with a real estate investor who has a website where he provides education for other investors. He puts on seminars, bootcamps, things like that.

Anyways, a couple weeks ago he asked me if I could help him get more traffic to his site.

Being the nice guy that tries to please everyone, I said yes.

So far this is what I've done:
  • Analysis of used keyword and density
  • Analysis of keywords to target (using MNF)
  • Defined HTML Head META tags (they weren't in use at all)
Here's what my plan was going forward:
  • Modify content of pages to include new targeted keywords
  • Attempt to change URLs of each page to include targeted keywords
  • Backlinking (High PR sites, social bookmarks, etc.)
  • AdWords, Facebook ads, etc.
  • Article directories
Well as usual I've taken on too many projects and recently decided I need to give a few things up. This is unfortunately one of them.

I didn't want to just quit without pointing him in a direction where he can get further help. So I was hoping that WF might be able to give me some ideas.

Does anyone have a good SEO company or individual that they've used before? He of course would be willing to pay for the services, but being in real estate he's naturally cheap...so nothing too outrageous

He definitely needs to invest some money. I do all my SEO myself and for example, on a construction company i own i have spent around 25 - 30k doing my own SEO but i dominate my market and did over 500k last yr so, not bad on my small investment.

SEO inst rocket science, but to make it work its hard to work with a new site. Best bet, is to make plan of attack. You need aged sites with relevenant content with lots of backlinks. But, like you said, he's cheap and isnt willing to invest online so there aint too much you can do with that...takes money to make money
