How to get Edu backlinks?

Hi folks,
I'm trying to rank my website, and I wanna to do some backlinsk(edu).
I searched and I found that there are services that sell backlinks, but I'm afraid of spamming links.
How can I get Free EDU backlinks?( manually)
any tips would be very appreciated.

    If you want to get backlinks from them. Firstly, your site is related with their site. Secondly, research them, see what their usually link to, then write quality content about it and show them. I know is not easy. But if you avoid Black Hat SEO, this is the best way to get free quality backlinks in my mind.

      Your mind? Yeah. That's pure fantasy. Nobody in their right mind is going to give you a real .edu that means squat.

    Start a college. Create a site for your college. Give yourself a backlink. Or two.

    Stop worrying about .edu. Find good sites and contact the owners.

    You should be more concern with finding a quality link irrespective of it's suffix.

    Anyone selling EDU or GOV links is a scam artist.

    They hold no special value. You don't need them to rank, and they are no better than links from any other site, all things being equal.

      You can try to negotiate with webmasters of these websites to your links posted... they are always happy to take your money....

      The real question is either it is the right decision. Does your top competition follows the same strategy or they have other tricks?

      Start with investigating their strategies, also always verify the trust score of the website before paying them anything, and then finally make your investment decision.

    You can get .edu sites backlinks through blog commenting. There is a tool name "Drop my link" through which you can find best blog for commenting. You can also use seo footprints for backlinks creation . it will not only help you to create backlinks from.edu sites but also from other high domain authority sites.

        Spam links. I do search , To get edu I have to do manual blog commenting or contact the owners of those edu website
