Directory submissions should really only be considered as a possible means of getting traffic and you should only list yourself in well respected directories that are built around your niche. Do not count on them doing anything for your SEO; though, they do help to round out a link profile and make it look a little more natural.

Your backlink strategy needs to be diversified with a little bit of everything - directory links, forum links, resource guide links, article links where your site gets mentioned (whether they are editorially placed or you place it within a guest post). If a link is easy to get, it is likely worthless and may even hurt your rankings if there are too many of them.

Hello nikhilsonu44, please NEVER, NEVER ever use any kind of directories. Perhaps all the other forum members don´t know but I can tell you. If you ever have make a SEO audit for a client who want to disavow the poor and bad backlinks, then this extremely expensive service always point to every kind of directory to be bad and poor backlinking and to get rid of this info of link.
