Have you gone through the basics and setup Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and uploaded your site index to these?

Have you setup a Google My Business account? If you have an address.

How many backlinks do you have?

Have you compared your website to competitors for the keywords you are trying to rank for?

Your Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools will tell you if all your pages are indexed or not.

I've heard of this before. Is it really true Google places new domains in a virtual sandbox? I've read that the measure is in place to prevent mass backlink engineering and weed out spammy sites?

Google has said repeatedly that there is no such thing as the Google sanbox. Gary Illyes repeated it again just yesterday. https://www.seroundtable.com/no-goog...box-23127.html

People have invented this notion of a sandbox as an excuse for why they are not immediately ranking for things. It's content and links. Always has been.

Where are you living? Those statements are just out there....like on Mars or something.

I can't believe the crapola that just exudes in this thread.

Nobody can tell you. The question is unanswerable except for:

Anywhere from 1 second to never.

Google could not give a rat's behind if your site is new or old. if it deserves to rank in google...NEWSFLASH: Then it will rank!

And anyone that says they do, is just full of nonsense.

People think their site is just the S#%$. They followed some bogus list about articles, quality, and other such seo-BS. And everyone says to just sit and wait. Yeah. Sure.

      Wait for what? Spring?

You people never cease to amaze me at low you can sink.

I'm the last person to speak about SEO. But, I do think there is some weight to his point about the relationship between domain age and SERPs. A lot of people have been talking about the subject over the years - they can't be all from Mars, right? Even Matt Cutts touched on it once. He wasn't specific, but make of this what you will.
1:30: The difference between a domain that's six months old versus one year old is really not that big at all. So as long as you've been around for at least a couple of months, a few months, you should be able to make sure that you're able to show up in the search results.

Again, I'm no SEO expert, and this is about the extent of my knowledge on the subject.

Edit: Ooh, just found this tweet from Rand Fishkin: "W/ Sandbox, even after Google admitted "we have something that might cause an effect like that," some SEOs were adamant it didn't exist."

The question is a NEW site. Does not matter if the domain is new,or the site is new.

You think google is going to wait 6 months to rank a site THAT IT THINKS SHOULD RANK?

Man, that would be a lousy user experience.

          This just in from google:

Sorry folks. We know a great website that would fit your needs perfectly, but we need to wait 6months before showing it to you. Come back then and give it another go!
Older domains or websites DO NOT have an advantage based solely on that. The whole idea would be ludicrous.

How do you know it is a low competition keyword phrase? What tool are you using that tells you that?

We have had pages ranking on page one in literally under an hour with no backlinks and others that took a year with tons of backlinks. It all comes down to the competition and that starts with a good tool that really shows you how hard it will be.

We use our own Niche Ninja tool. Although we like ours the best, there are other tools out there. I just want to make sure that someone is not using Keyword Planner to tell them how competitive a search phrase is. Google's tool only tells you how competitive a phrase is for PPC and has nothing to do with organic search.

I think you're doing very good on onpage SEO, however you forget to do offpage SEO, so you don't have any backlinks to your site. Try to focus more on offpage SEO and you will get better results.

Your site is 3 weeks old. 12 visits/day is not too bad I would say. You have just started off. And it is a long way to go, if you are willing to travel all the way of course. Just writing articles alone is not going to do it. Concentrate on marketing techniques and getting inbound links.

If you are good at writing, I would suggest you do guest blogging. Choose sites from related field. And look for high authority sites.

But I would recommend you choose to concentrate building link to your homepage for the first couple months.

    Good luck.

As far I know and understand based on my expertise, it is very difficult to give any time frame whether it is new website or old one that in what time it would rank in google.

There are really 100s of factors to rank any website, so it cannot be determined only through articles, content, backlinks etc., each has its own role to play. Yes backlinks are still very important aspect, if you have strong on page but does not have any backlinks then it would not come to rank, so link building needs to be taken up but at very ethical way.

What I suggest you is, you said you have articles on your website, so you can take up content proomtion of those articles, just visit some of the realted high quality blogs and visit them contact them and tell them that you have good article on the topic and ask them to share it on their blog. Dont share the article as is, just give them a short description written uniquely and placing link to your article and publishing on their blog This way you can drive quality traffic to your article sites. Try to search for "brian dean content promotion", you find one of the blog Backlinko which is best way to you to check how you can increaese traffic even with articles written once in a month.

    Hope this helps.

Nonsense comments in this thread, like Google takes 3 - 6 months to index pages. Crazy.

OP hasn't said anything useful, yoast plugin and low competition means nothing.

One thing I've learned about this forum is when someone ask a loaded question like how long it takes to rank a page and says they have good on-page SEO, they never have good on-page SEO. Which goes hand in hand with not having any followed backlinks.

It depends on your backlinks that how much strong your backlinks are. Content also plays an important role in this. For a new site if the domain is old then it might take time of 2 months to get rank well or in case of new domain it might take time of 3-4 months, but for 3-4 months we have to use quality content as well as backlinks.

Hey, if you have recently started then just have patience. Follow few of the basic tricks like setting up webmaster tool, Google My business. I know, it is tough to survive online market but eventually, you will end up nicely on search engine if you do proper work.
Create few of the backlinks, do some sort of guest blogging, Create social handles, Use forums of your particular niche and discuss with them, and then see what happens. These steps might work for you. Cheers.

It really depends on what you put into it.

First, check your settings in WP to make sure your site is allowing Google to index it.

Then work on building branded links to your site...just get a decent amount of easier ones to start.

If you aren't posting on social, get that going...and use something like ViralContentBee to give it a push.

As you grow, work on some high quality guest blog posts and enhance your authorship.

4 to 8 visitors/day is really very low, for increase visitors firstly you should manage google business page, start working on SMO and start creating backlinks for your website through SEO offpage activities.
