I am rookie in these fields, but i did a keyword research a found a good long-tail keyword with no competition, i mean the top 10 sites have pr s up to 5, but there is Zero density, description, title tag, nothing is there. My site is very new, Pr 0, can i get nr.1 position if i did all the seo right?

In a word, yes. And quite easily. You sure it gets some searches?

Keywords with zero competition that actually get any decent searches are few and far between. Did you check the searches with Google's tool using quotes?

Yes...There are many here, including me, who have gotten their pages to #1 for our keyword.

Was it hard, how long it took and was the competition fierce or not? I am in the learning process and every guideline and example is well appreciated!

Hi there Raul. Starting up, the competition was quite fierce but well worth it, with priceless pieces of information learned along the way.

Since you're looking for guidelines, try digging this thread for some. Here's a start, written by internetmarketer99 last month:

I managed it in three days for a blog a few weeks ago and I have done it several times with Squidoo pages.

          And the competition was low?

Some of the sites I lease out target keywords with as many as 30,000 competing sites. Some have very little (under 5,000) competition.

The number of competing websites is really not all that relevant though since you are really only competing with the Top-10 anyway.

As for how I do it? As stated in my sig, I linkwheel, bookmark, and submit RSS for all of my sites in addition to article marketing for the ones I keep for myself.
