LSI looks for synonyms related to the title of your page. For example, if the title of your page was "Classic Cars", the search engine would expect to find words relating to that subject in the content of the page as well, i.e. "collectors", "automobile", "Bentley", "Austin" and "car auctions".

Why do you believe LSI will help your site? People can give you definitions but without seeing your site - you can't get much real help.

LSI words can help a page rank but they are one of many signals that search engines use to determine the meaning of words on a page. Backlinks will get you further up the search engines, faster, than any type of on-page optimization.

I know there are some here who do not believe that a page can rank with zero backlinks built for even moderately competitive search terms but that simply is not true. We have hundreds of examples of websites and pages that are ranking well for some pretty competitive search terms that have never had a single backlink built to the pages/website. Of course, it took many months or years for those pages to slowly climb their way to page one, so backlinks are the best method if time is of the essence (and it usually is).

More to the point of your question, the best place to determine which LSI words Google might expect to see on your page, do an actual search for the phrase like any normal person would do and scroll to the bottom of the page to see what Google lists as "Related Searches" for that phrase. The more of those related phrases you can "NATURALLY" get on your targeted page, the better - especially the words that are in bold type.
