A little help on keyword research

I am working as an affiliate in the sports niche.

I am thinking about creating a YouTube channel with videos of highlights of different sports, teams and players.

The problem is that I had a little trouble finding keywords to make the title of my videos. I used Google Keyword Planner to look for what people is searching on that niche. I was looking for "james harden best highlights", for example, but nothing useful appeared.

Any ideas on keyword phrases related to sports highlights or best plays that I could try?

    Search in google for team/player name in the videos section. There you will get some ideas for titles.
    e.g.
    james harden top 10 plays
    james harden high scores

    Try KW you know people most likely would use in relation to your site's subject

    Using your James Harden example, why would I search for James Harden bet highlights? I think most people would be interested in the last 1 or 2 years... or in relation to a team. Or a particular event.

    If you google your example, at the bottom of the page, Google gives you a few keywords people use to look for James Harden stuff. Why not start there? Take a couple of them and run them through Google's keyword planner and see what else comes up.

    Will Serena Williams compete after pregnancy
    How many times did Serena win

    You're looking for permanent things... and few people are interested in sports that way... the last season, the last game, the last girlfriend, the last boyfriend... are most likely to be what people are looking for.

    You should choose those keywords which are low compititive. Also you have to check this keywords on google & check these are good searches.Also you have to search some surrounding keywords that are redirecting to our niche site.
