Help me monetize my idea......

I've just come across two videos that my friends have made and they are seriously funny! One of them was posted on Facebook and received over 80 comments from our contacts saying how funny they.

These friends have approached me and asked me if there is anyway of making any money out of these vids, so I need your help. What's the best way of going about it?

I was thinking of building a simple Wordpress site and imbedding both videos on it, and sticking loads of Adsense round it. I'll then do loads of social bookmarking and market it on forums and hopefully it will get traction and the traffic will blow up. In time it will hopefully attract some decent natural links and rise up the natural rankings

Is this a realisitic strategy? I don't really want it to end up on YouTube so they can profit from it.

Any help would be gratly appriciated

Regards,

Tom

Upload them to a site such as Revver. They embed a relevant ad at the end of them and if anybody clicks the ad you get paid. You can then place the Revver video code on any site to embed it.

I'm not saying this is going to make you loads of money but it's just an idea.

Put the clips on you tube and have links to another site you want to promote.

Revver looks like a good option. I've heard that YouTube also do ad revenue sharing, but can't find anything that mentions it. Any know?
