Years of hard work! Reading, working, researching, practicing, breaking things, fixing things, winning, losing, hoping, and all this with little sleep. Goes with anything where you want to be the best you can be, there are no real shortcuts!

  The answer to that question is the same no matter what the topic: Do the right thing at the right time!
  
  That's a general answer to a general question. If you want something more specific then here it is: Don't spam forums with one line generic questions just to get your post count up!

  start working on some websites of your own. buy a book on SEO, it will make learning the basics much easier. or just download the Google Search Engine Optimization Starter guide. it's a good place to start: seo for google - Google Search
