RSS feed submission and pinging questions

My advise would to get yourself a semi auto application like Rssbot and Socialbot.

Those two alone are all you really need.....just toss the RSS feed into Rssbot and forget about it.

Then toss your sites url into Socialbot and forget about it.....


Then you can just focus on backlinks to build up your site in the rankings.

If you already have the built-in Ping feature into Wordpress be sure that you installed it before you created the content....everytime you update your site the plugin will auto ping the directories to bring the spiders over to recrawl your site.

The rss feeds will also auto update if you submitted the feed to the mass directories..it works much like the auto ping feature of the word press ping plug in.....everything you update your site the RSS feed will alert the directories and update your site.

Those steps are mainly just to get your site indexed so that's why i recommend the two application from Incansoft.....It's a beach to setup the accounts at first but if your planning on having more than one site then it's well worth the few hours to setup all the account and the application submit to all the right sites for you.
