Time to stop my ad campaign?

For one of my ad campaigns, I've had 186 hops, 5 order form impressions, but no sales.

Is it time to stop the campaign and try something else? Clickbank is currently saying that the analytics data is delayed, should I wait just incase I've made a sale and it hasn't gone through yet?

How many hops should I normally wait to see if a product is profitable or not?

Cheers,
Sam

Up to 240 now, I don't think I have enough money to run the campaign for 4 weeks.
I don't want to bid too much on the keywords, but now I'm not getting very many clicks

try to think at the keyword level not a campaign level for your clicks, as for not enough money this is a common mistake people make, in that you do not need a set amount of money but regular money.

get your balance then divide it by so the number of days until the end of the 4 week period plus 1. so lets say counting today there are 11 days to go until the end of the four weeks, add one to it this gives you divisor of 12. daily budget = (balance / 12), then adjust and re do your sums each day if you want.

at the end of the 4 weeks you can refund if you want.

            Hi Sam,

Someone else may be able to go more in-depth but if you are looking to get sales from people coming to that page you have to consider how far the user actually has to scroll down before they get to the buy button.

I'd personally consider removing a lot of the content and make it so the user doesn't have to actually scroll down.

I'd write more but unfortunately I don't have the time so it may be worthwhile going here: cdfnetworks.com/more-landing-page-reviews/ and searching around on google for 'landing page design', 'ppc landing pages' or even 'landing page examples'

  • Sam...another thing to consider:

Is your sales page a "Sales" page is it an "info" page?

Let us take a look at your sales page?

We definately need to take a look at the page you are sending your visitors too. It's extremely hard to offer any advice on this without it.

It isn't my sales page, I'm just using direct linking, since I'm not too good at pre-selling, and tend to lose a lot of visitors.

Okay I'm going to scour clickbank and try and find a much better product with a much shorter sales letter, then see if there is any chance of me being able to compete on adwords.
