Ive heard a lot about this profile backlinks and i just wanted to know if you use the same username or mix it up ever 10-20 profiles ?

if you use the same username wont that leave a footprint behind making it easier for google to sniff them out ?

Built 1000`s with same user name never heard any SEO experts having problems would of thought it would take some serious profile building to create any problems but i guess it does leave a footprint so mix it all alittle if you like but dont worry too much over this.

Do whatever you feel is the best from an combination of efficiency standpoint, IMHO. I just don't find it worth my time to change my username that frequently.

I wouldn't worry about Google sniffing them out. IMHO, google has better things to do. In any event, Google wouldn't penalize you for the links as any competitor of yours could have put up those links.

A footprint, can however, (1) put your username on a blacklist so on a few sites you might not be able to register that username, and/or (2) other users can simply google your username to find forums to post on.

I have this and a couple other usernames on many other forums and never had a problem with being banned.

I'm talking about heavy profile backlinking here:rolleyes: its not that hard to get on a blacklist. If many = 1,000+, then likely you are on a list.

I don't think you will have any issues with Google for profile backlinking as this is as legitimate as it gets. The only issue you may have is other people stealing not your links but the sites that you used to get them. If this is an issue then change your profile ID frequently since it is so easy to do that.
