Help needed on Google Analytics

Dear Warriors,

I'm seeking to purchase a website but would like to firstly check whether the traffic that the seller claims is genuine.

Is it possible that I could get the seller's website google analytics code and link it to my account so that I will be able to view the traffic myself? How would I go about doing this?

Are there any other ways that I can check whether the traffic claimed is genuine?

    You can ask the seller to add your email as manager (*view only) in Google analytics.
