Just came across this interesting article: Breaking News: New Google Algo Change

Google just did a major shift and they are counting links in the content higher than ever. So, that means that the paid links are counting less in terms of the anchor text push.

#1 This is BS. Everytime some dude's site on the best way to train your dog moves a bit in Google they shout from the rooftops that a major Google algo change has occurred.

#2 How can you trust anything that says:

Clearly, the author has no clue what the hell he or she is talking about. Paid links can be in-context, or not in-context, just like non-pad links. I would be surprised if he graduated from 4th grade. If this is the "top" SEM guy he knows, he needs to run in better circles.

Tom, he wrote in complete sentences. I think you meant grade 6. The Breaking News Google algorithm update (like anyone would really know anyway) is almost getting as tiresome as when the next PR update is. BTW, anyone here any more on that? lol
