Does Google Adwords Ban Affect Organic Results?

Hi folks,

I've been meaning to join for a while. It's a shame that a big SLAP from Google has finally prompted it...

Google have permanently suspended my Adwords account. They gave me a final warning then closed it. The site they had a problem with didnt even exist anymore! I had deleted it a while back.

Anyway, that's irrelevant now.

What I'm worried about is my Adwords ban affecting my organic results on Google.

Does anyone know if my results will be affected? Results for my current sites, and results for any site I put up...

Thanks in advance,

Brian

not at all. Google doesn't make its search algorithm like this to affect these unrelated parameters for ranking results. Google organic results is not related to Google adwords account. Don't worry at all.

No Brian, from what i understand it your paid ads will not affect your natural standings, you mention the site that was slapped was deleted a while back yes ?

if you still have the domain, fire the site back up and get any good content on it and have your suspensions removed if that is all it will take.

Funny how you waited for the final warning.

Adwords is about quality landing page and following the rules.

When you think about it, it's a blueprint for a good page in general.
      (*see below)

If your pages were nothing more than junk that got the adwords ban,
why should google love these sites in SERPs? Makes no sense.

*However, there can be a huge difference between an adword page
and a "normal" webpage. Why are you using adwords in the first place?

Pages that work well in adwords are not necessarily good content pages.

Concentrate on tweaking the pages for search engines.

But that first warning should have made you take notice...

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.

Hi Paul. The first email I got was the final warning. There was nothing prior to this.

Before I deleted the original site it actually had good content on it.

From what Im reading on forums this isnt uncommon

I can live with the adwords ban, but if the natural results arent affected then it means life can go on lol
