EMD keyword seo question

i am very aware that exact match domains are very helpful in ranking.

i am getting conflicting reports on this subject so i wanted some oppinions....
suppose i wanted to rank for a term. example "weight loss"

obviously the domain weightloss.com will not be available. what is my next best option?

i've heard keeping the keyword in the front is the best option. is this true?
for example:
weightlossoptionsfortoday.com

or would i be better off doing...

lossweight.com?

any thoughts are appreicated. i've uncovered some keywords i think i can target that get good searches. just want my next best option when the exact wording isn't available.

thanks

I would go with a hyphen before using a suffix, you'd still get the EMD, and I wouldn't mix the order of the keywords as in the second example. JMO EMDs help, but they're not quite as magical as they were several years ago.

Yeah go for weight-loss.com. It will work better than other as search engine generally gives preference to world with hyphens.
