So warriors, What is your most successful traffic getting Ninja trick?

My favorite is offering 100% affiliate commissions on my front end product. I get to build a list for free with no work at all other than creating the original product and attracting affiliates. Better yet My list is a list of buyers!!!! I have created a decent library of back end products at a much higher price point. Win. Win. Win!

    I always said I didn't want to use Facebook for marketing (well, for my first week online!) but when I started using it it just absolutely exploded my business.

    I teach it to all our new members to get them traffic their first day online. Of course it needs to be combined with longer term traffic generation but it's a great way to just almost instantly get 100+ visits that day if you are using it correctly.

    And I'm talking about free Facebook strategies, not PPC. PPC is great for instant traffic too but take almost more time just testing ads and trying to get them approved. There's a place for both, certainly but I'm a massive fan of free Facebook traffic, it's just so freakin' easy.

    Great idea for the 100% commissions, will keep that in mind!

      I agree with Rachael, Facebook is a major source of quality traffic. Personally, the best traffic strategies for me are doing ad swaps, forum traffic as well as article marketing (outsourced).

      Can you elaborate a little on this? I have yet to delve into the world of social media but am very curious about the best way to approach this. I wouldn't want a Facebook account where friends and family would be subjected to my marketing activities. Do you open an account under a busines name? and how to do you start getting followers. Basic questions I know but I don't use Facebook much on personal level so I'm not sure how to go about it from a marketing perspective.....

        Hi Mary, I'm definitely not a facebook guru but you don't need to open a new account for your marketing. What you should do is create a face book "Fan page" for your marketing. This is a totally different entity from your normal profile and wall. Keeps your personal life and professional life separate.

    well i believe that is a good and considerable idea, but to be truthful it has not really worked for me. Google Adword has been the prime source of my traffic.

    Last I checked ClickBank only offer a max commission of 75%. So who are you using for an online processor and affiliate management? Thanks.

    Currently my best traffic sources come from ad swaps and solo ads. I am going to learn SEO because I recognize that is the only way for automated traffic generation.

      I agree that there should be a balanced usage of traffic generating sources and SEO. But in reality, if you use all the traffic generating sources the right way, SEO kind of comes with it.

      I (and my work) have found the following resources for Stage 3 SEO more successful:
      - Social bookmarking (interactive)
      - Free press release sites
      - Forum marketing
      - Online Classified Ads.
      - Effective RSS Feed management and propagation

    My super secret method is to host a blogging carnival. You just publish links and descriptions to a blogger's article in exchange for the article containing a link to your site. I do it monthly and it remains the most popular page usually until the next one comes along.

    In a single carnival I can get 30+ sites to submit a post and that generates backlinks, free content and a whole bunch of new visitors.

        You simply ask every blogger in your niche to create a post on their site about a particular question or topic. They then state in the post that it is for your carnival and when carnival day comes along you publish a link to each post along with a brief summary.

          One of my favorite sources of traffic is the traffic that is generated from a targeted mailing list. It's traffic on demand. Plus, it gives me freedom from having to worry about what Google is doing with their algorithm changes.

    SEO is my number one source for traffic. Its a lot of hard work and time, but I am kind of addicted to it. I like the challenge of it.

    I like to be able to use facebook and other social networking sites, but I haven't had any success, I guess I haven't learned how to use them correctly.

    Well most of the people doesn't believe me but I have managed to drive a lot of traffic from the question answer communities than after that forums are very good source of traffic for me I have very good reputation in few forums and posting regularly in them. Similarly from blogs and social networking sites. My tool of getting traffic is good relationships which I have with the people in different communities.

      Social Bookmarking is a way of getting instant traffic as there are loads of them online and people do visit them.

      Other strategies like Article, press release and classifieds are also good but slow in process.

      Another thing I personally feel is that the better your content is more easily google will provide you organic traffic.

    Amazing - been through the thread and as far as I can tell only one mentioned organic (SE based traffic). While there are so so many different ways go get traffic at the end of the day the real good, targeted traffic is organic! Simple.

    But of course that takes a heck of a lot of work to get :-)

    The most successful setups we have ever achieved:

    1) We did an infographic for one old content
    2) We wrote a Press Release and did a campaign leading to the infographic

    Result:
    - Huge number of visitors, repins, likes, shares, tweets, which brings in even more visitors. The viral factor is >1.0, in other words, every social action brings in more than 1 social action. This goes on for quite a week until it slowly subside.
    - Over 100+ social media blogs reposted our infographic and linked back to us, that's 100+ highly valuable contextual organic natural backlink.
    - Our ranking shot through the roof. Traffic is better than ever overall and social continues to be a strong source of traffic after this campaign.

    This is a strategy we will repeat again and again when we have a good candidate to produce another great infographic.

    Paid services i.e outsourcing and PPC type things for quick traffic
    while working on SEO from posting and using classifieds for long term.
    Throw in the social media in between my everyday tweeting and fb posting and i get
