Can Content make difference

Hi warriors
i have a site which contain images basically and i am ranking on 2nd page of google for several keywords and i tried really hard to get top 10 position but i am not able to get top 10 position so if i put some content on my site so will it make some difference.

    Since you are using images, have you used appropriate alt tags for each image on the site? That is as good as anchor link for text.

    Also create a stream on sites like flickr and photobucket. They are good authority domains and can help in improving your rankings.

    yes content have much value if you want to dominate the internet world.In fact google give value to those sites which have much unique contents in their website and blogs.So always put good,relevant and unique content in your website and blog.
    This way you will get site ranked in the top ten soon and get the much traffic to your site.

    I don't think content can bring your site up in the listing. I would advise you to increase back links from edu sites. It will definitely take your site number one.

    Content will help - part of what Google uses to determine whether your page matches certain keywords is the text content on the page. Alt tags on the images (which you should definitely have, by the way) only go so far. Write some descriptive, readable, relevant content and you will probably go up in the rankings.
