What's a pingback?

I've just started using free traffic system, looks like a great tool.

I'm now getting emails, from the sites where my articles are submitted to, saying

A new pingback on the post "my site" is waiting for your approval

Do I need to approve this?

    Pingbacks are automatic notifications that a site sends in Wordpress. You need to carefully look at each pingback however, because a lot of times people can fake spam links with them. They are great to have when legitimate.

    Better don't approve any ping-backs. You can better disable it in your WordPress control panel (disallow ping-backs from other websites).
