Have You Experience This SEO Phenomenon?

Hey everyone,

Real quick...

Have you noticed that pages with Youtube vidoes embedded in them get better rankings than others...

I've been trying to do some unbiased experimental testing, and so far it seems like pages with (related) Youtube videos rank better than those without...

What is your experience with this? (notice I didn't say opinion....experience only please!)

    I have to disagree... you can commonly say that any site with any video embedding ranks better, usually because they know more about common issues with websites.

    Unfortunately this isn't the case, video makes no impact, whether it is youtube or vimeo, or any other video sharing sites. The only thing that a video does to help your ranking is the little description box with a link back to your site.

    I have both. Sites with and sites without youtube embedded. Don't see a difference really for the site itself. But the youtube videos I have on my sites are getting ranked separatly on google.
