Keywords position down

Hello friends,
I am working on one of the website whose keywords were within 3 page of Google till last week when I started doing link building. But today when I checked the keyword positioning all the keywords were down and they were on the 6th and 7th page. I was really shocked to see this... please help me...I am building the relevant links and not doing over link building...

    perhaps you might have done something to your website to make google think your content was spam.

    To improve your rankings, try adding a couple posts about whatever and include a lot of LSI keywords as well with your keyword. Also, put some links to the top 5 websites on google inside your website to the main keyword. It'll help you get #1, just put it in an unoticable place.

    Lastly, try using some backlinking software to create some really valuable backlinks. just google backlinking software and you should be able to find something for free.

    One more thing, making a youtube video and linking it to your site or making a squidoo page helps too!

      Recently Google changes his algorithmic. Sites which have irrelevant links goes down. Try to update your content for the site also.

    may be there is problem of content check it for unique or not if it is copied from any other source so change it quickly because googles new algorithm not support content spamming

      This is when your site is linked with spammy websites or you have spam content on it.
      You try to figure out which are the possible pages and remove them from Google cache with the help of webmaster tools.
      after that clean the content and resubmit those pages.
      Google would index and reinclude them in next 2-3 months.

    May be your site backlinks were decrease or some one remove your backlinks.
    New google panda may also effect your site ranking.

    I would prefer you to stop link exchange and work hard on other off page seo link article submission, social bookmarking, blog commenting in relevant niche, forum participation in relevant niche.

      Always be careful with backlinking, cautiously add backlinks in a slowly and consistent way so it appears natural, never over kill it, you don't want to raise alarm bells.

    how much work have you been doing? much back-linking will cause a dance but then sometimes you just get bumped about because a couple of competitors have been doing some big efforts.

    make sure your not totally de-indexed, are you still ranking for other long tail keywords that are similar to the ones you think you have been removed for?
