Any decent alternatives to adsense?

I've been trying a few ppc sites from the publishers point of view. The issue is that I find that nothing pays anywhere near as well as adsense. I have been running both bidvertiser and clicksor but both aren't great. The ads aren't targeted which is bad for me as people are unlikely to click on them. Also ban for the advertiser as the traffic I am sending their way isn't very targeted.

Also I have found clicksor to slow the load time of my page down. I am hoping to add infolinks for some intext stuff but I'd like some banner ads.

I am looking for some higher CPC, actually targeted PPC network, if it exists.

Would it be better to give a CPM network a go? Or CPA? Are the CPA ads targeted?

Cheers for your help

AdSense has the highest payouts. Next would be AdBrite and the BidVertiser. Neither of these have nearly as many advertisers though so competition is lower thus they can bid lower which in turn means you get less per click. AdSense is the best CPC option out there.

Is that highest payouts for in-text links or for ads?

          No way!

I've tried infolinks but their payouts are really really low compared to adsense.

And bro, trust me, there is no alternate near to adsense. All the best!

AdBrite has close payment level with Google, but you need to spend more time setting up to find highly related ads. However, high related ads may bring high convertion rate, isn't it?

You can try Chitika, if you get huge traffic from search engine.
AdBrite is fine if you have grate amount of US traffic.
