I clicked on my own AdSense ads. Now what?

I am about to receive my first AdSense payment ever.

As far as I know, AdSense reviews every single payment before sending it, especially new new payments.

I accidentally clicked on one of my own ads while I was messing with my website's layout. This happened more than once - maybe two or three times.
Will these accidental clicks cause a ban of my account? Should I axpect any problems? I mean, it's my first payment and first review of my accounts activities.

I would contact adsense. When you are sending the message you will see category I clicked on my own ads... something like that.

If you Clicked on the same Add from same Person who pays for it, Contact Adsense Support ASAP, you'll get Banned.
If was different ads you may be lucky this time, but avoid it for future...

    Thanks

      Thanks, will do.

It's easy to say "avoid in the future".
The accidental clicks just happened... and I have this feeling that I will have more accidental clicks in the future too.

I always click on things accidentally, no matter what. Especially when I am focused on something else on the page, like my own web site's layout and design.
Using a graphic tablet and not a mouse doesn't help avoid accidental clicks either...

Try using a graphic tablet pen instead of a mouse and you'd know.

It's not that I don't see the ads. I do.
But a twitch of the fingers can do a lot of damage in the PC world.

Once I accidentally deleted a very important document from my hard drive.
Once a guy got hit by a car in front of me.
And I guarantee yo that he did see the car before he got hit. Seeing it didn't help him much.

Use a wordpress plug-in to block the ads for you. Or use ad-block for firefox. Or find a way to block ads from appearing when you're working on your site.

Otherwise if you keep on making those excuses, you will be banned soon. Guaranteed.

              Great advice, thank you.
I sure can use an ad blocker for my browser.

I have has experience with Adsense over several years. If you have not clicked more then once and this is not a trend that Adsense notices, then you have nothing to worry about. Just try not to click on them, because once your off of Adsense goodluck trying to get another account with them.

I doubt you'll face any issues. But if you're absolutely paranoid, and hey, it's Google, so I wouldn't blame you, contact them and let them know.

I was banned from Google Adsense... so I know what's it's like, EVERY PENNY I made that month was refunded back to advertisers, lol. But of course find a way to get back on Adsense.

They WILL find out, so you might want to get an adblocker ASAP, or just find other ways to monetize. I advice against letting them know...

How do you accidentally click your own Ads 3 times, lol?

    1) Don't contact Google that's just crazy & asking for trouble.

    2) Stop clicking your own Ads.

    3) Stop calling the multiple clicks accidents.

    4) Don't worry about it, If it's your first check I doubt it will bankrupt you, even If Google banned you.

Plus, maybe it's time to start using a mouse or trackball instead of a graphics tablet when doing web work.

If you contact google and tell them the ad and day they'll just take the credit off. I have done it before using my smart phone and they have been very helpful without hassling me.

    Just read this:

    https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...y?answer=62472

It's not a biggie if you accidentally click an ad. I did it once tonight goofing around with a site that I discovered had been hacked. I'm not panicking. If there was an intent to defraud google and the advertisers sure, but it's nothing like that.

LOL! We have yet another thread, leading to paranoia from some.

Anyone who starts an answer with, "Contact google...." is living
      on another planet.

Google says don't contact them. They don't care. Just don't make it a
      habit.

Who clicks on their own ads accidentally? Everybody.

I once clicked my own, without thinking, I actually liked the ads! Did this
3 times in the space of an hour. All that happened was the money
was deducted. Big deal. Sure I cussed myself out, but was hardly
      worried.

Why? I trust my sites. Google trusts my sites. I trust my traffic.

Google can detect fraud. Accidental clicks are not fraud. If google
was to ban people on accidental clicks, nobody would have an account.

Anyone who says they got banned for accidental clicks is lying.

Click fraud, among a couple of other things, is the number one reason
for getting banned. Clicking your own ads, accidentally, is not click fraud.

Relax, BullDozer. Up the medicine or something.
