All I can say is that no follow links should form part of your overall link building strategy. For link building to look natural you will have them in the mix,

There is no "value" to them as such but you get credited for having them in there, in my opinion

Agreed...if you have all dofollow links that just does not look natural. Every website is going to have some nofollow links.

nofollow links do have value, but obviously, not as much as dofollow links b/c they do not pass pagerank. But if you can get even a nofollow link from an authority site, it can help your site's rankings.

NoFollow links actually have a lot of value and are sorely under-appreciated. Google takes between 100-200 factors into account when they rank websites, and NoFollow websites are one of them. They also help your PageRank, albeit not nearly as much as DoFollow.

Also, if you just have DoFollow backlinks, I've heard that Google sees that link building as suspicious, since there are so many NoFollow websites online. You should concentrate on building both NoFollow and DoFollow links.

In my experience and in the tests I have done and am running, nofollow links are completely and utterly and absolutely without a doubt completely worthless.

I don't even bother with them any more.

If you do any blogging or article marketing, trust me scrapers give you plenty of completely worthless nofollow links.

Build dofollow links otherwise you'll just be paddling upstream...

NoFollow link is that you can pick up visitors to your website. Particularly if you’re commenting on popular blogs and in big communities. Again improving your brand awareness as you climb up another step on the ladder of authority.

I would go for nofollow baclinks, for the same of being natural with backlinking, if they came from authoritative or high ranking niche related sites. Nofollow is really something you don't want to play with especially when they come from worthless or non-visited pages, else you are only wasting your time.

Please can you tell me from where we can get do follow links?

Mostly blogging site provide no follow links but from many article sites we get do follow links.

They won't help you much... You should try to increase the number of DO-FOLLOW backlinks. No-Follow are just a simple way to increase the number of visitors, but they are useless for SERP

I will create a portion of nofollow links. Probably around 20% of my links are nofollow. As mentioned, it can be used to get visitors. Drawing visitors to your site is important and most high traffic site are nofollow.

    hi,
Normally we see that if there is a no follow link then there is less possibility of visitors opening the link compared to do follow link.

I really think Google takes the freedom to even look in to links which are no-follow in nature and notice the anchor text in the link, notices topical relevancy of the linking page to that anchor text, topical relevancy of page content to the anchor text, also topical relevancy of the linking page and also it notices how many people are redirected or clicked through those links and entered your pages on an average in to consideration and value them as a valid inbound link to your site.
