Gurus, how to select Niche and keywords for adsense?

I'm looking for some direction here.

How are the experts picking niche and keywords?

I plan to use google keyword tool and market samurai.

    Please help with finding a niche and keywords for the purpose of generating adsense revenue and/or flipping the site after few months.

    Here are some basic guidelines I use.

    At least 1200 Exact Match Searches in Google Keyword Tool
    At least $1.00 CPC
    Exact Match Domain used if available, if not then we’ll add a Prefix or Suffix (such as “pro” or “hq”) to the keyword when buying a domain
    Low Competition on the Google Top Ten :
    - Less than half are optimized for keyword in the title
    - Low PR on at least 2 of the top ten sites
    - Low amount of SEMoz links/backlinks

    I personally use Long Tail Pro to help me with this. A lot of other people use Market Samurai, Micro Niche Finder, and SECockpit. Some people just use Google Keyword Tool and browser tools like SEO Quake and SEO for Firefox. Hope that helps.

      Hey Mosa,

      Thanks for this info. I've been searching for niche keywords for about a month and I find that those keywords that fit the bill for search/CPC criteria are just way too competitive. I've been using Market Samurai and have been through so many keywords now I've lost count.

    It's a method that is rarely shown and similar to one that I've been using for some time now.

      He's got some pretty good info throughout his site.

      I just like his style and generally recommend his tutorials. Though I wish he'd log on and accept my friend request.

    Hey i'm an expert! (in my neck of the woods an expert is someone from out of town)...i have posted videos here somewhere of some of the ways i find niches and keywords.....but......the best and most surefire way, and the one know i will have the best chance of making money (with adsense) is....i'm not telling you, cause then you will be my competition! you will have to find out just like i did...i had to wash some gurus's car for 12 years, clean "her" house for fifteen but one day the guru thought i was worthy and told me how she did it...

    ok enough of that bs stuff....
    i seldom use keyword research tools....

    1. GO TO FLIPPA
    2. FIND THE ADSENSE "BLOG" SITES THAT HAVE JUST SOLD...
    3. PICK OUT THE NEWER ONES THAT ARE MAKING MONEY (SEE THE PROOF)
    4. DO THE SAME EXACT THING, SAME EXACT KEYWORDS HELL IF YOU CAN USE THE SAME EXACT DOMAIN NAME .NET,.ORG AND SO ON...
    5. THEY GOT 6 PAGES YOU MAKE 7

    That's it! i have had more success doing it this way than any other...WHY? cause some one else has done the work and we "know" it works with no guess work!!!

    if you want to spend hours doing bla,bla bla....help your self..

    OH, I about forgot....the most important thing of all!! You Have to use my SEO SERVICE..well, you don't have to, but if you don't my wife will never get her Rolls and i'll never get lai...never mind)

    i hope you try this cause take it from an out of towner it works!!
