About old links on a purchased domain

I have a quick question for someone: I know that when you purchase a domain you should forward all the old links back to your home, but what about the old images? If I have these...

How many of these should I bother forwarding? Just the first two? All four?

    To be honest, I wouldn't worry about images.. But you should have it setup to where any broken page, image, file, etc links back to the homepage for the best practice.
