Revolutionary SEO Idea For New Niche And Authority Sites

It's pretty simple... take about half of the time you're spending on backlinking and half the money you spend on backlinking tools and reinvest both your time and money on keyword research.

Last week I worked part time and analyzed approx 500k keywords using SeCockpit. I am sure I could get close to 500K in a day if I really went at it hard. You would never be able to touch that with any program based off your own computer and/or using proxies.

I was able to find several niches that have extremely low competition (like build the most simple link wheel in the world will get you to page 1 in a week or 2) that have very high exact search volume. Stuff thats easier to rank for than any of the sites I built before and those sites ranked in a couple weeks.

I just see so much effort put into complex and dangerous backlinking strategies, when who knows what Google will do in the future. The less backlinks I create trying to force my site to the front page the less clues I'm leaving for Google to determine that my site is not natural.

Doing more keyword research on the front end cannot be penalized and it's really serving your users better. You're providing something that there is obviously a lack of compared to the demand.

To me it just seems like you're going with the flow a lot more so than forcing a round peg in a square hole. Obviously if you're doing SEO for a client this won't work quite as well.

Thanks,
Josh

40+ views and at least no one wrote an angry response yet yelling at me for a misleading title

    Your title is misleading!

    You're welcome.

While it's the farthest thing from revolutionary in practice, the change in mindset I think would be beneficial for most.

I would be willing to bet most people here spend significantly more money and time backlinking than keyword research.

Looks more like a salespitch for SEcockpit

I have ZERO affiliation with them am getting Paid NOTHING and if there was a cheaper option that worked as well I'd cancel SECockpit yesterday.

          Hows that for honestly?

But the fact that I can cruise through probably 100x more keywords a day than anyone using Market Samurai.. that must relate to finding better niches more often. I actually tried MS and cancelled it. I even sent them an email saying they should host it in the cloud and I'd switch tomorrow and even pay them significantly more.

              Lol Seriously I know right

I posted a review, and I definitely have suggestions on how it can be improved as well

I want to make sure my message is clear though. It doesn't matter if its SeCockpit or another tool it's more the shift of focus and effort from backlinking to initial research makes the whole rest of the process go smooth as butter

Long Tail Pro is better and cheaper for micro niche sites. SE cockpit is good too, but i've noticed some shortcomings when I was using it, such as - showing the wrong available domain names, not showing available domain names at all, and showing different search engine results. I also feel that the sites that SE cockpit showed as low competition weren't always low competition.

On the flip side, se cockpit did make for a great way for us to do an initial filter of keywords. After that we would throw the keywords into LTP and use LTPs results as the determining factor.

However, in the end, even with this benefit, me and Trevor decided that it wasn't worth the monthly price tag.

Me and my partner do lots and lots of keyword research and we're getting many sites that have low competition on the first page of google without any backlinks. But, I don't consider this SEO - it's just a precursor to our SEO. We are still constantly working to improve our SEO so that we can rank tougher and tougher keywords.

It's amazing how many untapped niches are still out there, if you're not good in SEO, you can compensate it with your kw research skills.

Good to know that I'm not the only one doing it exactly that way. If you look at my review, I stated some of the same shortcomings with SECockpit but once I get focused in on a keyword I also type it into LTP to get a more accurate picture.

Thats exactly why I do it. I'm new to SEO so the less work I can do to get ranked the better.
