Its my understanding that Google is starting to ad more weight to Social networking sites. Does anyone have any good articles or tips on how I can develop my Social sites inorder to help the rankings of our business websites?

Also, in terms of assisting with our Google rankings, is it better to get Facebook likes for my business FB page or my business website?

Big G is going to look at everything to determine rank so look into first helping out your website rank properly then your Facebook page.

Oh and links from facebook are nofollow so google would not count them. They only help bring in traffic!

  Nofollow links ate counting by Google and you can see them in your Google webmaster tools too but they don't pass pagerank to external links. Its the only difference between dofollow and nofollow links.

if you say G+ yes it is, but for other social networks, they only good for bring traffic, not for serps.
