Hi

warriors, i have a keyword domain on both .org and .net

which one i have to develop or which is easy to rank?

I think it is a toss up...as I've seen both rank very well. What I would tell you to do is make sure that you check the "history" of the domain to make sure it isn't blacklisted or anything.

They've been saying it in writing, on websites and on blogs, and on videos in Q/A sessions at which it's frequently asked, and even at conferences. It's a subject on which nobody can seriously allege they'd have any reason to have been lying to people for all these years. And yet, however consistently and repeatedly they clarify it, a proportion of people always like to have (and debate) their own ideas about it.

i prefer .net, i feel .org is like more suitable for organization websites.

I try to keep everything .com except in extremely limited cases. Especially in "non-IM" niches. Lots of people (around here) assume a site is

www.SOMETHING.com

, and I have lost business and received confused e-mails when having clients with a .net or .org.

Unfortunately the public (35+ yrs old, non-regular computer users) aren't to the point of understanding varieties of prefixes (

WWW.example.com and SITE.example.com

) and TLDs

www.example.COM and www.example.NET

). I've only recently had "hyphens" in domains consistently understood by the public. But if you can, opt for .com

If I were you I would choose .net, because I believe that .org is referring to organization and .net to network. But I agree with Brian Tayler, if you can find a .com it would be even better

A couple weeks back I was doing some keyword research and according to Namecheap the domain name that I was interested in, the .com I could buy for $198000. I think it must be a mistake but the .net was still available so I suppose that's how much difference 3 little letters can make.

Personally I prefer .net to .org but that's my own personal preference, I don't have any stats or anything to swing it either way, I just prefer .net.

As long as the .com stays up for sale and isn't being used I'm happy.
