Hi Warriors

I'm thinking about taking the plunge and parting with some heard earned cash just to get into the PPV networks, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask fellow Warriors about any experience they might of had with it first.

Cheers

Some networks have bot traffic, and obviously won't convert.

I've seen campaigns with some very low conversions on very general interest products (CPA email submits), but that's it.

PPV gives you a lot of traffic for a low price. I think the key is how you use it.

Most importantly, you have to test your campaigns.

I suggest you consider using it with CPA offers. You can send pop-ups to a specific url that someone goes to. You can pick out the exact urls you want your pop-ups to appear on. This gives you the opportunity to laser target your prospects.

The more similar your pop-up is to the webpage they land on, the better chance you have for a someone to act upon that pop-up.

Send traffic to selected CPA offers and test to see which ones work best.

I Use CPV for List Building

It is a long term strategy to build a relationship with the people who opt-in...and yes, it works well.

Other people seem to mainly promote CPA deals.

    Heck ya it converts.

If you're AWeber, wouldn't you like to popup your site over GetResponse.com, iContact.com, Constant Contact, and Mail Chimp?

It doesn't get anymore targeted than that.

LeadImpact.com is the largest PPV network.

I'd avoid this service, which used to be called Xango but then they were involved in some shady crap and changed their name.

From my experience, PPV is grossly overhyped as to traffic and conversions. If you are thinking about running CPA / affiliate offers expect to be banned from the networks.

If you're thinking about running a pop-up over a competitor's site, like Jason recommends, expect to be hearing from a lawyer.

So your saying that it's unjust then, is it actually seen as breaking laws?.

PPV traffic is NOT illegal/unsafe, & will NOT get you banned by your CPA network.

CPA networks accept PPV or/DLS traffic just like any other paid traffic source. The area that gets people banned from networks, is when you start running direct affiliate links to EPN or Amazon, basically cookie stuffing each visitor that gets a popup.

So to sum it up, stay within your ad networks rules and PPV traffic will show you excellent returns. Or if you choose to go outside the rules, insure that you have the knowledge to stay a step ahead.

Also if your thinking about getting into PPV make sure you get with one of the two top networks, either TrafficVance or LeadImpact. Going with a lower quality network will give you lower quality traffic ;-)

PPV is perfectly fine and yes it works over and over again. Track your campaigns accordingly and test. For beginners - I would suggest starting with leadimpact.com to get a feel for it. In conjunction with this ppv source, get cpvlab for your tracking. One of the best sources for ppv tracking IMO.
