Penguin inconsistency and fiverr gigs

I used fiverr gigs extensively prior to penguin, focusing on quality not quantity. While many of my keywords took huge hits, several did not, and the one I had at #1 bounced back to #1.

I looked back at the gigs I did for that one and I'm not sure why that keyword didn't get penalized where many of my others did. So I decided to reproduce those gig orders for another keyword. Yes, I do keep track of them. 13 gigs in all.

They should all be complete within 9 days and results in the following weeks. I'll update this thread with the results.

Curious if anyone has seen such high inconsistency with penguin on the same site, but different keywords.

I think the best way to describe Pengiun is 'Work In Progress' it is still learning, developing and making changes and the update becomes more advanced so having some dips and some climbs will be normal depending on your sites contents and linkage strategy. Stick with the whitehat and quality sites and even if you take a small dip it will bounce back.

aygabtu it doesn't make sense to Google when you hit one keyword with Fiverr gigs and then move onto the next one, it all needs to be mixed up - linking to old content, new content and index page all with one campaign.. I'm sure you'll get better results rotating keywords everytime you get one.

Things are the same now as they were 5 months ago except they run filters everynow and again to clear out the careless people. The people who are patient are the ones that will get top rankings..
