I'm about to kick off a new Adsense monetized blog, I want to go hard with it & make it a great info source. Any rules of thumb on how much content there should be before I start promoting it with PPC, solo ads etc.? I'm going to open it with opt-in PLR and about 8-10 articles then add 2-3 a week

It depends where your traffic will be coming from.

If you are buying advertising then you want everything in place to start.

But if you're marketing plan is search engines and social media etc etc, then I'd just start. One good page is definitely better than none :-)

Yes, you can start as low as 1 good page. Learn more from http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...adsense-4.html

Personally, I feel that the more content there is, the higher chances people will stay around and opt-in etc. This is because they see your site as more established.

Quality is equally or even more important than quantity these days. If you put up 1000 words of poorly written content, it wouldn't do you much good. I would recommend 800-1000 words of well written error-free content that uses several variations of the keyword(s) you are targeting.

I should have been clearer and stated paid advertising. I'll set up Social Media from day one, as well as promoting through forums, blog comments etc.
