Duplicate meta descriptions - Do I need to worry ?

I did look @ Goggle webmaster HTML Improvements
I notice is say I have Duplicate meta descriptions on 32 pages and 43 Duplicate title tags

Do I need to worry about this ?

I have wordpress blog and all in one seo and the link of post in category is like this

    I did name each category same name and the headline of post so short link is Duplicate

    The title tag is an important element of on-site SEO - it's what becomes the blue link that's the first line of items that are displayed in the search results.

    It also tells the search engines, and people, what your page is about.

    If you have duplicated title tags the search engines will think those pages are about the same thing and won't know which one to return in response to a search query, so your search traffic will suffer.

    So yes - you should worry about them and you should change them so they're unique for each page.

    Hi tofrar,

    meta tags are important part of your website. if you do not have any meta tags then Google will not show your website in search engines and if you have all the meta tags same then Google may show all the pages for same results.

    It would better to add different Meta tags for your page, make it short around 70 characters for title , 160 characters for description.

    Any page you want ranked in the SERPs should have unique text, doesn't matter If it's content, page title, or anything else. That way you don't have two separate internal pages competing with each other in the SERPs.
