    All I do is research thoroughly, finding those gems. I then make sure my on-page content is superb.

    By then that alone will index my page, and heck even reach to the first-third page of Google.

    I don't backlink at all anymore. Well, social bookmarking if that counts (Onlywire).

      How possible is it? If you really want to see the effectiveness of your off page optimization give a time, at least a month and you will see the result. Achieving your goal can't be done over night.
