Affiliate Banners

Hi guys, do these really have an effect on ranking? I use minimum of 3/4 on every page for my site.

Having too many banners/ads on your website can actually penalize your website, because Google is not very fond of obvious affiliate sites.

  I would say it has more to do with how intrusive they are. If there are 3 or 4 full-length banner ads per page, that's a bit much. 125x125 buttons are a bit different. either way, that number is not too high.

Change your Affiliate link as a nofollow link.

As your site has 3/4 then it is good you won't be penalized..

Affiliate links often work better when they're text links in the article itself. Plus you can take off a load of banners and make your site look nicer.
