The most effective, failsafe method to promote a new Youtube video.

I know their is a service that allows other people to view your video in exchange for viewing other videos. I forget the name of the service, but if you google it, I bet you could find it.

I tried a couple of FIverr giggs and they had absolutely no effect, maybe I was just unlucky bit I did look for the ones with positive reviews and high sales. Is it a saturated Keyword that you're trying to link for, only asking as normally it's quite easy to rank quickly for most keywords especially LT KW's
I looked at a few "automated" systems but decided to give them a wide berth as the risks outweighed the benefits.

Thanks icandi. The keyword used is a high competition one (not my choice). I am determined to get the video to rank well, whatever it takes. Fiverr has some good gigs and a few that are questionable. I always look for a 'Top Rated Seller' badge to determine best gigs; only given to the Fiverr crème de la crème, apparently.

I would say give it a shot, as I said I might have been just unlucky and might take another look at the offers on there. There are so many conflicting opinions on the best route. I've read to many posts to the point that there appears to be no definitive answer unfortunately.

At first you can go with Social Media and Bookmarking then you can use some exchange service to increase your views.

There are really quite a few things you can do - but if the keyword is SUPER competitive, it's going to take longer than a day or 2 :-)

Backlinks - use fiverr (top sellers) to get a link wheel with Web 2.0 sites pointed to your youtube video - Social Bookmarks also work wonders
Views, Comments and Likes - I'm on my laptop now and don't have the exact gig, but MANY fiverr gigs will give you views custom comments (you write them) and likes for just $5 or $10.00 Start with 1000 views or so - no these are NOT real viewers, BUT many fiverr gigers will not ensure the views are for the entire length of the video - which actually helps with rankings. Now I'm sure many on here will say don't buy views - well...I say do it - works every time for me and I have not lost a youtube channel or video yet as a result. Shoot, I'm on page 1 now in google and youtube for a 3 day old video for a keyword that gets 40,000 (yes, 40k) searches (exact, not broad or phrase) per MONTH. This is thanks to good keyword research, and the above steps i outlined

These things, as simple as they are, are a pretty good start and I've used JUST these to rank many videos over the past year or so

When you want to rank in google you need backlinks

and to rank in youtube itself it is all about views and likes!
and important are the tags on your video

You forgot one Important thing (I think).

SEO! You must fully optimize your Title, tags, and description.

I usually practically have an article In my description, targeting the keywords I'm going after. Not just keyword stuffing of course, they all are relevant and 100% readable.

I also blast mine with backlinks, and send likes and favorites to them. I don't even outsource for that because I do It all In house
