People trying to up their post count by blindly replying, with out reading anything first.

There are several methods to index your backlinks, most of it has to do with the quality of the link, but sending it through a crawling service, or a service that builds backlinks to the backlinks will help as well.

The best would be to build backlinks to the backliknks, and feed the newly created links through a crawling/pinging service.

You dont need to waste your time doing this.

All it does is increase link spikes. You kinda want to appear natural. Backlink indexing looks unnatural.

I am not saying it is super dangerous. I just don't see much upside to it. Like i would never try and index my lower tier because they all get indexed anyway. And then it just seems pointless trying to mass index forum profiles/comments and the like.

Ive yet to see a really convincing argument in favour of using a backlink indexing service. Also most of the top SEO's i know dont use them. So...

I think you need to know how to index your 2nd tier links, right? In that case, you can submit to Linklicious.me (get a free account over there).

Another option is to create RSS feed from all those links and submit to RSS directories. You can use free online services like bulkping.com etc to create the RSS feeds

Third option is to buy a fiverr gig of 10k or 20k blog comment links and blast these links at your second tier links.

Its so frustrating to see so many blind replies that doesnt even answer anywhere near the question...

You can easily do the job youself in 10 minutes, no need to pay anyone to do it. To index your backlinks, ping them as soon as they are built. Secondly, create an rss of your backlinks and submit to rss feed sites, preferably at least 5 of them. That's it.

Why would you want to do this though? i know exactly how to get them indexed. Just none of the top SEO's have been doing it for years. I see very little upside to doing this, apart from looking unnatural as hell.

Well you want your backlinks to b crawled by google. If u let them crawl naturally, it can take up to many months just for them to get indexed, n by then, your backlinks would have lost value already.

Of course, you should not overdo it. Minimum is to at least ping them to alert google.

Evilsiagon is right, if you wait too long, the backlink can lose value if it has not been indexed in a certain period of time.

I'm curious, since you mention this looks 'unnatural as hell', why is it then that most blog services ( wordpress, blogger, etc. ) have pinging built into them, to get the page crawled when new content is posted?

Getting new links crawled has been a part of SEO for years; while it is true that naturally built links and higher quality links tend to get indexed rather quickly and don't need a lot of help, pinging/crawling your links helps them get indexed faster than they would be indexed naturally, it has been proven time and again.

The links being indexed isn't what looks unnatural, it's the rate at which the links are built and the quality of the links themselves.

And what "Top SEO companies" are you refering to? They usually aren't very forthcoming with their methods, and I'd be willing to bet that a large majority of SEO's do some sort of pinging on some level.

          It depends on the scale...

Like i am pretty much a black hat... I build lots of tier 1 properties... then i build mass links....

I am talking about thousands of tier 1 properties and then hundreds of thousands of tier 2 mass links..

If i pinged all of these and they got indexed semi quickly, it would just **** everything up i am sure... like when you look at like my majestic, you see links coming in gradulaly over a long period of time.

If i pinged everything, there would be massive link spikes.

I understand that it helps gets your links indexed. I am not doubting that.

What i am doubting is actually how useful this is for your SEO.

I used to use a tool that got all my trackbacks from wordpress, and put them into RSS and pinged them... to me it seemed stupid tbh. Because these links are going to get indexed no matter what (Since i am building links to them)...

I am skeptical to think my results would be much better if i started pinging all my links. Thats all i am saying.

And it does look unnatural, no matter what you want to say

Also on top SEO companies... the people whose strategy closely mimmics mine are people like becker from source wave and the good folks over at OMG machines. They are crushing it and they dont mess around with any of this pinging stuff.

And again, i am not saying it will get u penalized.. I am just saying maybe its better to use ur resources elewheree.

          Just my 2 cents.

So since you build blackhat links on a massive scale, you are correct in that it could hurt you, because all pinging the links does is shine a light on your link building practices--it would expose your link building as manufactured and fake. If you build quality links, and build links correctly, there's nothing to worry about from having your links crawled.

The point I'm making is quite simple:

Do a poor job building links, ( of any kind ) ping, and be prepared to reap the consequences.

Do a good job building links, and ping, and see how fast you get to the first few pages.

and just building backlinks to your backlinks does not get them automatically indexed, I don't know where you heard that, there's a lot to do with the quality of the first link, what you want to do, and the quality of the link that you build to it.

It is not at all necessary to use any of the paid services to index the back-links. Of course, you may use those services if you do not like to move your fingers. But no guarantee even 30% of your back-links will be indexed. I personally tried few of the best Back-links indexing services, but it did not make much difference and found that manual indexing strategy works better or best.

Majority of the back-links can be indexed by just following few simple steps as given below. These steps may look complicated, but practically they will take 3 to 4 minutes only.

STEP 1: Ping all the back-links (you can use mass pinging free services like (bulkping.com, mass-ping.com…etc.)

STEP 2: Convert the back-links into RSS (use free bulk RSS converter tools like links2rss.com or bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php) Better to do 50 or 100 Links together at a time, but never more than 500 together.

STEP 3: Take the newly converted RSS URL and submit to RSS directories (use bulkping.com/free-rss-submit-online/index.php OR tools.950buy.com/rss-submit)

STEP 4: Ping the RSS URL using Free Pinging services

STEP 5 : Submit the RSS URL to pipes.yahoo.com and google.com/reader (it is simple to learn how to use them)

STEP 6 : Submit the RSS URL to feedburner.com

      Additional Resource

STEP 7: Instantly index any single Page URL or Website URL with indexkings.com (but it take too much time to do bulk URLs)

STEP 8: Any single URL can be quickly indexed with the help of Twitter and Facebook posts.

STEP 9: Best way to index any URL is to do four or five High PR Social bookmarks. (delicious.com, stumbleupon.com, tumblr.com, diigo.com, reddit.com and google.bookmarks)

      IMPORTANT POINT

Don't Make any effort to index back-links from Forum Profiles, Blog Comments, Forum Posts, etc. Let Google find them out slowly in a natural way. They are just for anchor text variations and does not have much value unless a few of them are of high quality.

Try to index forcefully only quality back-links from High PR Web 2.0 Posts, High PR Wiki Posts, High PR Blog Posts, Document share, Social Share.. etc. They should not exceed a hundred back-links a per day or maximum 200 links per day with lots of anchor text diversity and no foot prints.

If you are making Pyramid Back-links there is no need to worry about indexing at all, because most of them will get indexed quickly by Google naturally because of the inherent Pyramid Link Dynamics.

      All The Best.....

It really just comes down to where you're creating (or receiving) the links. Is it a site that Google trusts? Is it already indexed? etc.

If you're going the volume route you'll be creating a lot of links on low quality sites which are a lot harder to get indexed.

If I'm going for quality over quantity I tend to just ping my backlinks and let Google take care of the rest. If I'm going to quantity I ping them and run them through the Scrapebox rapid indexer. In addition to a few lesser known techniques.
