Hello Warriors. Hope everyone's having a great Valentine's Day. I've been working on an Adcenter ppc campaign this week since Monday and could use some serious feedback due to I have failed miserably before in PPC. I plan on running the campaign through the weekend. I'm trying my best to succeed in PPC. I feel like I'm so close yet so far away. I've managed to do some testing and tweaking this week trying to make my campaign profitable.

So here goes. The niche is in weight loss. I'm targeting more of a sub niche

"Fat Burner For Women". The 2 countries I'm targeting are USA and Australia. The 2 countries where this product converts the highest.

My overall quality score for my Landing Page (Non Optin) is 8/10 which is very good.

My Landing Page

Below are my current stats and keywords I'm using for my campaign. I've even deleted a few keywords that weren't doing well for me.

My keywords, which most of them are set to Exact match, with a few at Phrase match

I also currently have 2 rotating ads in my campaign I have also tweaked a few times this week. And therefore I have yet to get a conversion since I started. I've read a ton of materials on PPC and I'm still having a hard time grasping it. Any feedback or criticism on where I'm at and what I need to do to improve would be greatly appreciated. I hope I've given enough data.

First off, I'm sorry for sounding harsh, but I sincerely wish to help.

You're website is ugly. The images are low-res and it looks like you're selling some fat burner pill. People will not buy fat burner pills/drugs...whatever, from an ugly looking site.

Your site is also on a free host. Why is it not it's own site?

It's also kind of hard to see that you're selling them - I have to scroll down and I see a little Buy Now link. It's like...ok...? It needs to be more obvious that you're selling.

Personally...I don't know of a single person who would buy "drugs" from a sketchy looking website.

    Ok...next point:

If you're sending people to a sales page...which is what it appears you're trying to do...sales pages usually convert around 1%...if not less...off of "cold" traffic. Also known as...the traffic you're getting from your PPC campaign.

So even if your sales page was good, traffic coming straight from a search engine will NOT convert well.

You need to capture people's email addresses. Build trust, then you can send them to a sales page. You can do this via squeeze page, pop-up opt in, exit opt-in, etc. But, you need to build that trust. Especially with the niche/product you're working with.

Right now, you're throwing money down the drain.

Which is a good reason why I just paused my campaign. This is what I needed to hear. I appreciate your honesty. Apparently I have a lot more to learn and have been going at it the wrong way. I'm a pretty slow learning when it comes to academics, tech stuff etc. So it's pretty much back to the drawing board.

Your site has a pop up that say "get your free website from wix.com"

That is insane dude, if you spend money on PPC, then why the free website? are you using free coupons for ppc?

You need to make a landing using a domain similar to the product, like "my fatburner for women". People are going to buy from a site that says "get your own free website at wix.com"

Yeah I had some coupons then ran out. Oh well, live and learn.

Waste of a coupon dude, you could have bought alot of data with those. That landing page killed everything, so you have no idea which keywords are working.

Atleast now you know why it didn't convert. Redo the landing page, and NEVER start a campaign till the landing page is 100% done. Ask around, people will be more than happy to let you know if your landing page is good or not

I can't imagine anyone going to that site and buying, it kind of looks unprofessional and thrown together.

I would hire a real designer and get your own hosting without the wix, and I would start out wit a lower priced entry offer, maybe 1 bottle for them to try and then continue to follow up with the buyers to try and sell a recurring or larger package.

Total site redesign and start out with a lower point of entry, my goal would be to break even on the PPC and profit on the follow up. if I did end up producing a profit on the front end that would be great, but it's all about the follow up and overall customer value

Which is definitely a good clue I should hire someone to design a site that looks more professional. At least I can see the humor and laugh about it.

Yeah, I think it would be wise to forget everything I'm doing and start from scratch again.

If you dont want to design a landing page you can still link directly to the offer, if your just looking for an immediate sale. You could get them to join a list and email them multiple offers too.

I havent been able to profit on bing/adcenter. I've done some good on 7search lately. But tracking is key in Ppc.

I tried to find you a bunch of free premade landing pages, but they are scattered all over the internet. Google "landing page templates" and you will find a bunch of free ones.

Will do some research on the landing pages Alex thanks alot. Direct linking works for some offers.

I must ask why you chose to promote the product you chose?

Don't in any way mean to criticize, just want to help!
If you type your keywords in on bing/yahoo what type of ads do you see?
    Are they affiliates direct linking?
Are they just big companies branding?
*Are they affiliates linking to landing pages*?
    What are they promoting?

These are some very basic questions you should have the answers to before starting any ppc search campaign.

My best recommendation would be to get signed up to a trusted cpa network with great support. They will tell you which offers are converting best in your niche, and practically hold your hand. Trust me you should drop what you are currently pushing

As far as landing pages go, you should absolutely work with a designer to have something legit created as others have mentioned^

    Just stick with it!

PPC is the easy part. I think you need to work on the conversion rate. Can you stick to one single squeeze page? Your website has too much information scattered all over the place.
You need to be razor-sharp selling physical products especially on consuming items.

PPC is really a numbers game. Your Click-through rate is quite good. The only things I can really suggest is more split-testing and more keyword research! Think of keywords as lottery tickets. I would build a huge 'keyword web'.
If you aren't making any conversions, you may want to start with your ad copy. Does it have a call to action?
Also your landing page could be improved. Keep it simple. Have an eye-catching headline, a banner advertisement and then maybe a scare tactic such as 'only 10 left'.
    Hope this helps you!
