Why Won't Google Re-Index a Website??

Moved a client site from old version of joomla (HORRIBLE serps) to self-hosted wordpress on my dedi, set 301 redirects, much better seo for every page. I have about 300 wordpress sites so this should be easy stuff. Added a few "new" pages and blog posts and those show up just fine on G but cannot seem to get the rest of the 50 pages replaced on G's index and their new urls. It's been over two weeks now. What possibilities might there be?

Time? 2 or 3 weeks isn't long. I'd start to worry a bit after 6 or 8 weeks.

How long ago exactly did you do the move? Did you do redirects from the old setup as far as the link structure goes, or did you keep it the same? I'd try submitting the websites sitemap to google and try building some backlinks to those pages that aren't being indexed.

Yeah, I'd ensure you were registered with Webmaster Tools and have a good sitemap submitted.

Other than that, give it a little more time. If some have started popping up, the rest will surely follow.

Great, thanks guys...The site has 90 unique urls linking to it so I thought G would pick it up quicker, plus new blog posts are getting submitted to g+ and twitter. There is a google webmaster sitemap installed but I did not use their direct submitter yet. Maybe it's come to that. Usually sites like this I can get re-indexed in 3 or 4 days so it just caught me off guard.
