Hello warriors,

I am webmaster of few informational websites, now a day I am facing big traffic drop around 30% since last 10 days.

Is there same with you people's website? What may reason of this fall?

Is there any best idea to move it to best level as it was earlier?

How old are the domains? Are they under one year in age?

This could be normal... Do you still rank high in SE? Also, any of your visitor source could be NOT active anymore... Or, it could be that your website is BANNED from any search engine... Or just people are NOT interested in your website anymore!

Some people are experiencing the same thing here and there.

Can have something to do with Penguin 2.0 pre-launch.

Often times traffic can change suddenly for a variety of reasons Google updates, new competition, even just the fact that there are trends with searching topics and not every day may get the same volume overall

Check your analytics. Better than guessing and asking us to try and figure it out without data. Things to check:
    - Where did the traffic drop come from - Google Organic or other traffic sources?
    - What pages were they visiting most - Is there an error on those pages in some way? Run a scan just to be sure.
    - Were you doing any advertising? if so, did something change? Facebook & other ad sites tend to do well in the beginning and then slowly lose efficacy.

There are tons more things to check but these will get you started. Let us know the data so we can help.

1st of all thanks for your good response!

I am using Google analytic and analyzed data where the website have doped there is drop only in search traffic and there is no changes/error on the top visited pages.

We use Google's affiliate program AdSense. Can there any impact on the search results from them?

On a few other forums, there is quite a few people complaining of traffic drops, even without serp movements. Not sure if there is anything to do with googles latest update.. however, your not the only one with a traffic drop.

    Regards,

I guess it was before penguin 2.0 come into act (as per your post date). How about your traffic now? I would suggest you to have some Google analytics or other tools to see how do you get traffic? That will definitely tell you, what is going on around your site in terms of traffic....

My guess: Graduations of all kinds have been taking place across the U.S. People are taking time away from the internet and celebrating. The weather beckons people to get outside, to go on vacation, to lose 10 lbs.

hello neha, For immediate traffic, I usually use facebook fanpage, http://traffic-generator.ezmlm.com and linkdin.

Its better to come up with domain name and compete query related to your website.
There may be several reasons for sudden drop in traffic like
    (a) loss of backlinks
    (b) no fresh content since long time
    (c) high bounce rate
    (d) less activity in SMO
    (e) low CTR%

    thanks
