Hello!
I had a webstie that used custom CMS. I want to move it to Wordpress, re-writing all content.
The problem is that it gonna delete all the already-indexed pages by google.. and probably will be a problem.

What would be the best way to do it?

If you care about the already ranked pages you have to get the Wordpress URL structure perfect before moving the pages. The new URL structure needs to match the old URL structure perfect or you'll have to manually 301 redirect each individual web page/URL.

Google is all about URLs, If they find a 404 error your page will drop in the SERPs.

Yuk OP provided very little information to help him. Are he talking about ranking problem? As he asked the question via "SEO subforum" so he might asked about SEO where URL structure is important to keep rankings high. He might worried about indexing problem. If so then I don't think he has to be too much worried and can start shifting contents to his wordpress site and I would recommend him to delete old pages after downloading contents from them.

Migrate the site to WordPress. You can copy the good content and use 301 redirects for the old pages. Depending on the URL structure you may be able to maintain all or some of the URLs

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

Why do you want to move on wordpress? Is the custom CMS not good for managing contents? Is it a big problem for keeping the site away from spammers or hackers? Is the CMS not flexible as wordpress?
    or
You want to move on wordpress as you think wordpress will give you some SEO benefit which a custom CMS can't?

If first part of my questions are correct then of course you can use wordpress, joomla, drupal, squarespace, magento anything you feel comfort with. On the other hand if you think wordpress can carry some extra SEO benefit then you are going to waste your time and money too.

It means Google already indexed all the pages of your site. So the CMS is not bad for SEO. Then perhaps you are not comfortable with the CMS as its not flexible enough for you.

If you are worried about indexing then I don't think it is going to be any major issue. Just delete contents on old site and upload them into new site. After all invite Google crawlers to revisit your sites. You can download the whole site and then upload them into your new wordpress manually. You can hire a VA hourly basis who can do data entry manually. Alternatively you can search for plugins and tips for uploading multiple contents simultaneously.
