I'm starting a pyramid link, what do you use on the base layer? articles submitted to directories and rss feeds? Then blast the hell out of them with blog and forum posts?
Also how careful are you with your IP, heard if google links your IP to several of the pages in your pyramid then the whole thing is goosed?

    And, people are still using pyramid schemes? From all I've read these are the quickest way to get your main site penalized and even banned from Google search.
