    Depends on the keywords. Some will be much harder to get to page one than others.
    IMO, first, site must have great original content.

        That's true & it's not because they want to do PPC, they don't know where to turn to get that traffic back that they lost on organic SERPs.

        Every once in a while you'll see someone chime in suggesting to forget SEO & do PPC instead. What they don't say (like the guy above in this thread) it's extremely easy to lose a boat load of money on PPC & lose it very fast. IMO PPC is more risky than SEO unless there's a HUGE markup on whatever service/product being sold. Still has a learning curve just like SEO.

    content and backlinks. it's that simple. it's always been that way for many years. sometimes things change like you need more content, less keyword overoptimization, diversified backlinks with different anchor text, etc, but it all boils down to content and backlinks. never forget that.

    Well i am really surprised that how can one spend through his money for getting a quick jump. What if the fuel would end up? Obviously fell down with the same energy and thus all things would finish. The reasonable approach is to practice seo slowly and staidly. It might not work in 1 month (depends upon the marketing strategies you use and the competition of the keyword) but it would not hurt you anymore.

    Got a certain URL on the first page in about two weeks. However, it's an old site/domain, it's a two word search term, it's from the Finnish Google version, and way under 100 users are searching for that per month.

    So there, it can be done. Incidentally I've now got enough anecdotal evidence to start selling an ebook as a WSO. I'm kinda pissed that you've taken my title.

    well there is no hard and fast rule that is going to rank you on top of the Google search just in a month you need to make an strategy as per the competition in keyword like if you have chosen highly competitive keyword than you need to follow different and strict strategy i.e. it would require much more effort !!! while low competitive keyword doesn't require much but i am sure as far as SEO is concerned it is all about getting high competitive keyword rank on the top of the Search engine. Well enough of the description in order to rank your keyword do article submission, maintain the proximity of keyword, forums, yahoo answer an all !! You would require all the efforts you could get. It will be helpful for me to reply you if you have shared your site link with us. So i would be looking forward for it in order to give you the most favorable answer.

    You can rank your site on First Page.. Just buy 50-100 Sidebar site wide links on traffic and DA 30+ blogs... I know a blogger who achieved.. this site name was happynewyear2014wallpaper... He made $2K+ within a week.... and got million views...
