I created a website recently: writearticlesforme.com to offer professional writing services. However, I don't know what could be wrong with the way I set it up because it is not showing up on Google Search. I submitted the sitemap to google webmaster; it shows it is indexed. However, the content on the website doesnt show up on copyscape when I check it. What could be wrong? I really want to get this off the ground but am stuck. Anyone to help

If by "okay" you mean "satisfied by the fact that the pages have been indexed". Google knows you exist, but it's got nothing to do with ranking on any keyword.

However, your site is quite new and it may take a while to rank. Just waiting a bit may help.

It is a pretty new site, I just wanted to know whether I can now start working on other aspects of seo.

The site already has indexed pages, so your good to go with indexing pages.

Google doesn't own Copyscape so you can forget about that idea, it serves no purpose for the SERPs.

So the site is not ranking for any of the keywords you'd want it to rank for. I'd guess that it's a combination of poor backlink profile and content that doesn't really stand out. It's probably not easy to compete in this niche with SEO, because there are so many content providers and not that many ways to describe your product.

Copyscape only checks that something isn't an exact copy, but that doesn't really help your content to rank.

So, what is the best way to stand out; use adwords?
I checked for copyscape to see whether the exact copy would show my website but it didnt show up.
