Aren't you answering your own question? Read your title again, and read your message. If you still see banner ads, what does that tells you?

Just because others are doing it doesn't make it right.

      Bridge Page policy

We don't allow ads whose sole purpose is to link or redirect traffic to the parent company or to a different site. Bridge pages offer little or no unique content and are considered low value to users. Affiliate sites that display the same characteristics may also be considered bridge pages.

Affiliate spam: Google does not allow affiliates to advertise on AdWords in violation of the applicable affiliate program rules.

Direct linking is not right. And that's not the question here. The question is, can you still advertise clickbank products on adwords. The short answer is yes.

I disagree. The OP did not mention whether it's a direct link to clickbank or not, I saw no mention of linking to a website other than clickbank like you are claiming. So I took the most common scenario asked on this topic, which is direct linking from adwords to your affiliate link on a clickbank item. The answer to that is NO, its against adwords policy and can get your account banned.

otherwise if you linked to your site, there would not be an issue with promoting your site full of clickbank promotions, you'd only be promoting a website you control. Using adwords to generate traffic to that, then converting that traffic to clickbank. There are sleazy ways of doing this that can get your account banned, and there are legit ways of doing this which requires time or money to do correctly.

Ain't claiming anything. I don't think you are comprehending correctly today. The OP asked if its still OK because he is seen banner ads. I pointed out that he was answering his own question. You then began posting that is not ok, and then you post about direct link, hubs, affiliate.

Please stop damaging the thread. OP asked if its ok to do so, the short answer is yes.

and thanks to Luke here is one method to do it right:

about my question. even the ads are there, it doesn't means that the ads are legal for adwords. the advertisers maybe be banned sooner or later.
so my ultimate question: how to be legal to promote clickbank products in adwords?

Eventually, Google will probably bark at you for doing it. Yes, a better alternative would be to make a squeeze page and develop an email marketing campaign to build a sales funnel.

I don't mean to hijack the thread by any means, but i have a quick question that hopefully one of you guys can answer.

Would it be ok to create an add about "XYZ" that directs to a page on my site. On that page, I add only a button that says something like "Click here to learn the secrets to XYZ" that redirects to a clickbank product selling "XYZ"?

If you are looking to many money via affiliate revenue and advertising directly (i.e. they are directed via your affiliate link)... You would be much better off as others said and have some middle ground... maybe a review on the product or offer a free product and then promote the CB products to your list... then link to the product that way.

Also some companies frown upon using trademark terms or keywords in PPC because you will be competing with them for their own keywords... so you will also have to come up with some non TM keywords.

The only RIGHT way to promote Clickbank (or any other Affiliate product!) is to have your own blog or website that links to the Clickbank product. Then you can promote this blog in Adwords!! That's how we are all doing this!

The best way to promote clickbank products and get a better ROI, is to use a squeeze page and use any other PPC network other than google adwords. You are wasting clicks otherwise by directing them to page where you are not trying to get their email address first. Once you have their email address you can market the same or other products to them later if they choose not to buy. Not to mention, google's CPC is way too high. You can still get quality and very targeted traffic from other ad networks.
